Typical Project Steps

These are typical steps for an Internet/Web or Intranet application project (not all projects require all of these steps). Throughout this process we provide any technical support or other assistance the client may require.

1. Determine/define client requirements.

2. Develop project plan including budget and schedule.

3. Design overall information architecture (structure and organization).

4. Design graphical/style elements and page layouts.

5. Produce/edit final graphics.

6. Produce content pages (HTML, etc.).

7. Post all content to the web site and test.

8. Review web site with client.

9. Implement any requested client changes.

10. Launch the application (marketing: announcements, Internet directories, etc.).

11. Monitor and report ongoing usage of the web site.

12. Train and support client staff as needed to manage ongoing operations (updates, etc.).
