Seminars & Training Programs
Transforming Business with the Internet

There are many seminars, classes and other training options that address Internet technology, web design and related technical issues. Unfortunately, this is typically not the case for the business end of the Internet. Our programs address the theme of Transforming Business with the Internet (TBI), focusing on such topics as:

  • Business implications and opportunities
  • Marketing and sales support
  • Adding value to products and services
  • Learning more about your customer
  • Automating and improving internal business processes
  • Knowledge Management
  • Internet business models
  • Getting up and running on the Internet
    (for small businesses and professionals)
  • The dos and don'ts of web sites
  • Emerging technologies and capabilities, and where they fit in

A number of our business and process models are inspired by the peerless contributions of America's foremost information-age visionary and pioneer, Dr. Douglas C. Engelbart, currently Director of The Bootstrap Institute. These models help organizations take practical steps toward Engelbart's vision (also see Knowledge Management) using open Internet technologies and tools.

Our TBI programs include slides, printed handouts and live demonstrations, and are designed to be interactive. They are offered - customized to meet your requirements - in the following formats:

  • Short talk or presentation (30 - 60 minutes)
  • Short seminar (1 - 3 hours)
  • One-Day Seminar or Workshop
  • Two-Day Seminar or Workshop
  • 10-Week Course

Our unique and highly acclaimed 10-week course (Course Description) is available through:

  1. the UC Berkeley Extension
  2. a custom-designed version for augmenting internal (private) organizational and corporate learning programs
  3. a custom-designed version for integration with internal (private) organizational and corporate operations, initiatives and projects

Please use this TBI Interest Form or call to let us know how we may be of assistance to your company, organization or group.
